Image

Just before the Three Travellers Inn was a small group (24-30) of old private and commercial dwellings on a site once occupied by the old Black Bull Inn, a pub used by traders and visitors to Barnsley on market and fair days. In the early 1960s the shops here included Webster's (ladies hairdressers), Waylett's (fish & chip shop) and Parker's (tailors)
